# Who can apply to Flatiron School?

Our programs are open to learners who meet these baseline requirements:
* 18 years or older
* High school diploma or equivalent
* English proficiency (all instruction is in English)
* Physically located in one of our approved countries or regions
That's the floor for applying. Beyond that, the right program for you depends on your background and goals — certificate programs are open to beginners, the full Work-Integrated Immersives are built for learners without prior software experience, and the Accelerated tracks are built for engineers with production coding experience.
