# What is the AI and Data Science Program?

This program takes you from beginner to professional. You'll study statistics, machine learning, and advanced modeling while building a portfolio of projects. Like our other certificate programs, it's offered in two pacing options: 15 weeks full-time (40 hours/week) or 45 weeks part-time (13 hours/week). See our [__Pacing and Duration article __](https://faq.flatironschool.com/en/article/pacing-and-duration-of-courses-spkciq/)for full details.
