Should I do a Certificate program or a Work-Integrated Immersive?
Both pathways teach you the same skills and award the same professional certificate. The difference is how you pay for it and how you learn.
Certificate programs are self-paced study with mentor support, in full-time (15 weeks) or part-time (45 weeks) pacing. You pay tuition (as low as $9,900 upfront) and build a portfolio of projects. This is the right path if you want a focused learning sprint and plan to job-search after you finish.
Work-Integrated Immersives combine coursework with a paid apprenticeship in a production environment. Your apprenticeship earnings offset your tuition — you come out either at $0 program cost (Immersive) or $14,100 ahead (Accelerated). This is the right path if you want real-world experience built into the program and you'd rather earn while you learn than pay upfront.
A few things to know:
- The credential is identical. Graduates of both pathways earn the same professional certificate.
- Immersives are limited-seat and competitive; certificate programs start a new cohort the first Monday of every month.
- The Accelerated Immersive is built for engineers with production coding experience. The full 18-month Immersive doesn't require prior experience.
